The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has launched an exciting initiative, the “Namo Bharat Short Film Making Competition,” inviting filmmakers, content creators, and social media enthusiasts to showcase their creativity. With cash prizes of up to ₹1.5 lakh at stake, the competition aims to bring the spotlight to Namo Bharat trains and the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) stations, integral to the region’s modern transportation infrastructure.
Participants have full creative liberty in crafting short films or reels, with no restrictions on genre or storyline. The only requirement is that the Namo Bharat train and RRTS stations must feature prominently. This openness offers a unique canvas for content creators, indie filmmakers, college students, and influencers to experiment with innovative storytelling techniques while spotlighting the advanced public transport system.
The initiative is expected to garner significant interest from young and creative minds, particularly in the National Capital Region, as it combines artistic expression with a substantial financial incentive. Beyond the competition, the project aims to enhance public awareness of the RRTS, a high-speed regional rail network designed to revolutionize commuting in Delhi and its neighboring cities.
Interested participants can submit their entries within the competition’s specified timeline, which emphasizes originality, quality, and alignment with the theme. By blending creativity with civic engagement, the NCRTC hopes to foster a deeper connection between the public and the transformative potential of the Namo Bharat project.
