Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the special ceremony for Ram Lalla at the new Ayodhya temple in a momentous occasion, attended by RSS chairman Mohan Bhagwat and other important figures. For Ayodhya, the Pran Pratishtha signified the conclusion of a 500-year worship for a Ram Mandir, making it a historic occasion.
Marvellous Architecture
The temple was constructed in the classic Nagara style and has three floors. Pink sandstone from the hills of Bansi-Paharpur and Mirzapur is used to proudly support it. It covers a huge 71 acres and cost over Rs 1,800 crore. The design skillfully blends modern concepts with old traditions.

Grand Temple Dimensions
The main temple area is 2.67 acres in size, measuring 250 feet in width and 161 feet in height. It has 390 pillars, 46 doors, and 5 mandaps. The size of the temple is evidence of its amazing elegance and careful planning.

Inner Sanctum & Entrance for Devotees
Ram Lalla’s idols are displayed in the main area, which is beautifully decorated with locations such as Rang Mandap and Nritya Mandap. It is a spiritual journey, as devotees must climb 32 stairs through Singh Dwar to get there. To make sure that everyone can visit the temple, it also features lifts and ramps for the elderly and disabled.

Environmental Awareness
The temple was constructed using both indigenous technology and our customary building techniques, demonstrating our commitment to environmental preservation. 70% of the 71 acres have been preserved as open land. This demonstrates how they have combined the preservation of nature with our convictions regarding faith.

A Tradition of Unique Anointing
Every Ram Navami at noon, there’s a unique way they honor Ram Lalla. They use mirrors and lenses to direct the sunlight onto Ram Lalla’s idol, and it doesn’t need electricity. They’ve made it using brass to make sure it’s sustainable.
Sculptor’s Contribution and Artistic Marvels
Across its 390 pillars, the temple has been decorated with 16–28 god idols. Finely carved images of mythological characters decorate these pillars. The statue of five-year-old Ram Lalla, at 51 inches tall, was sculpted by renowned Mysuru sculptor Arun Yogiraj, contributing to the incredible artistic craftsmanship of the palace.

International Touch
The temple gets an international touch because a group from Sri Lanka gave a rock from the famous Ashok Vatika. This shows that people around the world recognize and appreciate Ayodhya’s rich culture.
Pilgrim Infrastructure and Safety
A 25,000-person Pilgrims Facility Center is being constructed. Lockers for personal items and medical assistance will be available here. To ensure that everyone is secure when visiting the temple, artificial intelligence monitoring is also being considered.
Durability and Symbolism
It’s amazing that they didn’t use iron when building the temple, thus it should last for a millennium or more. The rectangular Parkota area surrounding the temple is home to other gods’ temples, showcasing our diverse heritage of culture.

As the new Ayodhya Temple prepares to open on January 23, these 20 statistics highlight its size, spiritual significance, and thoughtful preparation. It is significant not only for Ayodhya but also for one of the oldest religions in the world. It resembles the regeneration of soul and culture. The temple demonstrates the adaptability, strength, and inventiveness of our community, as everyone pulls together to create something quite remarkable.
