Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra has continued to advance. This time, he improved his resume by winning the men’s javelin throw world championship. Anderson Peters of Grenada handed the wheel over to Neeraj Chopra, who finished first. He has now surpassed all other Indian athletes to claim this position.
Anderson Peters has 1433 points, while Neeraj Chopra has 1455. Jakub Vadlejch of the Czech Republic holds down the third position with 1416 points. Chopra rose to the second position in August of last year. He became the first Indian to win the Diamond League 2022 finals in Zurich in September.
