For this purpose, under the guidance of an architect from Trichy, he bought marble from Rajasthan, engaged the laborers there and the laborers from Ammaiyappan area, and built a memorial house in the shape of Taj Mahal at a cost of Rs. 5 crores in the last 2 years. Jailani Bivi’s Samadhi has been erected here.
Love Transcends Religions: The inauguration ceremony of this memorial house was held on June 2 and it has been opened for public viewing. All those who love love across religions are visiting this memorial house. A Madrasa has also been set up here to conduct 5 daily prayers.
Also, since Jailani Bivi passed away on Amavasi, 1,000 people are cooked biryani and given food every Amavasi. Amruddin Sheikh Dawood said that when everyone talks in awe of his mother’s memorial, he feels as if his mother is still with him.
