In a remarkable feat, Nirbhay Thacker has defied conventional educational timelines, completing classes 8-12 in just nine months. While many typically finish schooling by 17 and graduation by 20-23, Nirbhay accomplished these milestones in an incredibly short span.
Born in 2002, Nirbhay swiftly passed classes 8-10 in six months and classes 11-12 in just three months during the academic year 2015-16. By the age of 13, he completed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and achieved the title of Gujarat’s youngest engineer at 15. Astonishingly, he completed the usual four-year engineering degree in just one year, earning his degree from Gujarat Technological University (GTU) at the age of 15 in 2018.
Nirbhay’s academic prowess extends to standardized tests, evident in his Joint Entrance Examination (Main) where he scored 75 out of 360, further highlighting his remarkable abilities.
Recognizing his achievements, Nirbhay received the Young Achiever Award from the World Education Congress. Undeterred by past labels as a “weak student,” his insatiable thirst for knowledge remains unquenchable. Nirbhay’s audacious goals include acquiring ten engineering degrees within the next three to four years, a testament to his relentless pursuit of knowledge.
Nirbhay attributes his success to a simple yet powerful philosophy: understanding over memorization. This approach has made him unstoppable in his academic journey.
Currently enrolled at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Gandhinagar, Nirbhay aspires to leverage his tech skills, especially in defense, to shape a cooler future. Beyond being an engineer, he is a learning superhero, demonstrating that with determination and the right attitude, one can break all records.
